Our Mission

Unplugging the cord provides access to and information regarding renewable energy to the general public. We are dedicated to assisting customers in becoming energy independent and self sufficient.  We provide products and services for all skill levels, from the do it yourselfer to complete installation and maintenance.  Our goals are to utilize and adapt existing technologies and components to reduce waste and costs.  All our products and services will be manufactured and will operate in the cleanest, greenest, and leanest way possible.  By remaining clean and green, we strive to reduce the carbon footprint we leave and by remaining lean, we strive to keep initial costs as low as possible and to substantially reduce or eliminate recurring costs for energy use.
